Convenient Public Transportation
Overview
For the development of a new office building, it is important, where
possible, to choose a site that is close to the public transportation
system such as the Mass Transit Railway or a bus terminus. Where
public transport is not nearby, provision of a shuttle bus service provides
workers with a convenient means of transportation.
The convenience of public transport or a shuttle bus service reduces trips
by private vehicles, thus reducing traffic congestion around the office
as well as the time spent by staff travelling to and from work. This also
reduces the level of air and noise pollution caused by private vehicles.
